Stacey talks to Barnett about what she has discovered about Gary. She knows that he has stolen the cheque book and that he is a good manipulator.

Stacey asks Phil out to dinner. He accepts her invitation.

When Stacey gets back to office, she finds Gary sitting on a chair in the office. He says he knows she was at the night-club last night asking questions about him. He knows she is onto him, but he says that she can't prove a thing.

Gary talks to Lance and Martin about the night-club plans. Gary wants A$6,000 from Lance to pay the builder. Gary gets it from Lance.

Celia sees that Craig has Jeff's prescription painkillers when he accidentally drops them in her store. She talks to Jeff about it. He acts innocent and says Craig must have taken them from him!

Jeff gets angry with Craig for showing the painkillers even though it was done accidentally.

Phil is gone out for dinner with Stacey. She asks him do to a favour to help her with Gary. She says she is convinced it was Gary who took the cheque book. Phil gets the impression that it is the only reason she asked him out. He gets upset and leaves.

Martin and Lance are out nightclubbing. They try to impress a few girls but don't succeed! There is a few clumsy scenes which are pretty funny!

Stacey talks to Phil. She says she is attracted to him, but she says she can't have a relationship. They kiss (Romantic music plays)
