Matt talks to Steven about Carly staying in Summer Bay. Steven's idea for Matt was to be in relationship with Carly until she would move to England so he wouldn't have to dump her. Matt is troubled now that she won't move.

Carlys explain to Tom that she will stay in Summer Bay.

Morag is organising a dinner in Celia's house. She invited Roo and Nicholas as well. Morag hopes that Nicholas will fall in love with Roo. Roo is doubtful of the dinner with Nicholas in case he doesn't like her.

Steven tries very hard to convince Carly to move with them to England. She says she will stay in Summer Bay because of Matt.

Stacey does not like Nicholas' trick of giving Alf and Ailsa a trip around the world just to keep them away from Summer Bay for a while for business reasons.

Martin brings Leanne over to his parents' so she can get to know them. His parents are real slobs and Martin is convinced that she will dump him because of that and don't want to marry him!

Nicholas, Roo and Morag have dinner together and Nicholas enjoys it.

Martins tell Leanne they could move in with his parents. She does not like the idea!

Nicholas and Roo get on well together.

Carly overhears Steven and Tom talking about the plan for Matt to get out of his relationship with Carly. She hears that he only pretended to be in relationship with her until she would move so he would not have to dump her.

She realises that Matt does not want to be in a relationship with her and she is upset over it.
