Fisher has a talk in
class about Andrew Foley leaving. Fisher explains about the new teacher that
will be taking over.
The new teacher appears
and everyone is shocked to see it is Grant since none thought he was a teacher!
Pippa comes back from her
visit of her mother Coral King.
Tom collects Pippa and
Christopher at bus.
Emma has a hard time with
Grant as teacher since she was interested in him earlier. He apologises to her.
She is angry.
Steven is still in
hospital. He will be coming home tonight though.
Tom is very happy now
when Pippa is back home. They talk a lot.
Vicki Baxter doesn't
get along well with Emma and Viv. There's a great tension between them.
Emma gives Viv an idea to
make Steven a welcome home card. Vicki hears about it.
Celia wants Ailsa to
contribute to the Africa Awareness Week. Ailsa say no since Alf is already
contributing to it. Ailsa is ok with having a can for coin collecting in the
Diner though.
Fisher doesn't really
like Grant's personal style and clothing in school. Grant has a more
”loose” style and it is not exactly a suit with a tie!
Vicki is coming up with a
plan to get back at Vicki and Emma. Vicki will copy Viv's handwriting to get
Viv into trouble with Steven's welcome home card. Vicki will write the card
differently to cause trouble between Viv and Steven.
Vicki got a friend to
borrow Viv's study notes so Vicki can see her handwriting.
Grant has a bit weird way
of teaching. He don't use the old fashioned methods of learning. He is a lot
more relaxed which students will like better.
Celia talks Fisher into
helping her collect money for the Africa Awareness Week. Fisher accepts to have
a can for coin collecting at school.
Grant has a tape recorder
playing in class with disco music! The class is dancing to it to ”re-charge”
their ”batteries” for the day. Fisher hears it and walks in as they are
dancing. Grant is also dancing!
Fisher is angry and talks
to Grant in Fisher's office. Grant tries to get him to understand that his new
learning methods really work. Grant wants another chance to prove it to Fisher.
Celia puts up a stand
outside the Diner for the Africa Awareness Week to protest since Ailsa didn't
want to support Celia except for the coin-collecting can in the Diner. Ailsa get
angry and feel blackmailed sort of.
Fisher watches Grant's
class as they are working with Grant as teacher. Students seem working with a
lot of energy and they seem to have fun. Fisher sort of has to admit that
Grant's learning methods do work.
The Diner is empty
because of Celia's protest outside. Ailsa have to agree to support Celia in
the Africa Awareness Week. Ailsa was pressured into it because of Celia's
protest.
Vicki copies Viv's
handwriting and writes the welcome home letter to Steven as to cause trouble
between Steven and Viv.
