Ailsa tries to console Kelly over Travis’ disappearance. Casey is convinced Rebecca harbors stronger feelings towards Travis than she admits. Burt reads to the unconscious Pippa in the hospital. The Stewarts, Rebecca, Kelly and Jenna sit near the water’s edge awaiting any signs of the missing boat. Rebecca recites a poem while Jenna tells Ailsa how much she misses Curtis. Alf spots the boat in the distance and all are happy when Curtis and Travis are back unharmed. Curtis rushes to meet Jenna, while Kelly dashes onboard to help the injured. Travis tells Kelly that they have rescued Tim O’Connell who had been tangled in a fishing net. Sam returns to a worried family, and tell them he has been at a friends. Burt is quite annoyed at him. At the hospital Travis finds out Pat O’Connell is going to be fine but Tim is in serious condition. Shannon visits Pippa in hospital and tells her she really likes the new guy in town but she isn’t sure he is good for her. Kelly advises Travis that Tim is over the worse. He tells Kelly that saving a life made him feel worthwhile, and that it has been a long time since he had felt like that. Alf lets the girls know about Curtis’ farewell party, but Shannon accidently tells Curtis about it. Travis is feeling very tired and falls asleep when Kelly begins to talk of the city again. Jenna asks Shannon about Curtis’ previous girlfriends, but she tells her not to worry as she knows how much Curtis loves her. Burt receives a call from Isabelle’s sister in Adelaide, telling him she has taken a turn for the worse. Burt thinks time may be running out for the two of them. Curtis has his farewell party. Burt takes Sam to the hospital to see Pippa, however Sam reacts badly and refuses to go into her room. Rebecca has another talk with Casey about Curtis. Casey feels very left out and thinks Curtis has treated her very badly. Burt tells Pippa about Isabelle and how badly he thinks he is coping without her. As a going away gift Alf and Ailsa surprise Curtis with an old Comby van. As Jenna and Curtis drive off Casey is left alone crying.
