Rebecca gives Justine a hint to her secret admirer hidden in her poem. Tom overhears Justine's comments about him not being old enough for her, and feels hurt. Ailsa gets a fright when Duncan points Alf's old gun at her. A reporter overhears Alf and Ailsa's views on guns and offers to put Ailsa's views in the paper. Ailsa is angered by the reporter's betrayal, when she distorts Ailsa's views in the paper. Diana's plans backfires when James refuses to cancel his shift at the hospital, as she is planning to have a family dinner. Diana tells James he should take things further. Joey returns after his brief disappearance. He continues his odd behaviour when Irene finds him working on his PC in his room without the light switched on. Justine is glad to have things sorted out with Tom, but is Tom happy with them just being friends...?
