Irene is startled when he claims his reason for his change of mind is that he is writing a novel. Sally points out Sam's ungratefulness when he has not popped into Travis and Rebecca's since he moved out. Chloe has an appointment with her bank manager for a loan, but is not hopeful. Hayley and Sam work out together how they could find the graffiti artist who spoiled her painting. What does Diana have in mind for James? James shouts angrily at his mother when she tells him to go out with someone else better that a Bonza Burger employee. During this argument, he accidentally slips that he is in love with Chloe, and tells her his reason for going out with Sally is to help him get Chloe out of his mind.
