Hayley calls over to see Gypsy as she needs a hand with
the cleaning up of the drop-in centre; an officer from the council is
coming over. Gypsy finds the good Samaritan within her heart.
Duncan gets a certificate for English and is happy about it that he wants
to show it to Shauna. Ailsa suggests he leave Shauna alone, and Alf tells
him they are not getting along at the moment.
At the drop-in centre, Shelley is helping out and gives some orders to
the kids. Will tells Dani that her mother is cool if she is helping out,
but she says she cannot help being a regular Mother Teresa. An old man
comes in but Mitch tells him the place is for under-21s. He complains,
and Gypsy asks Shelley if he is really going to be thrown out as she does
not like the idea. Shelley points out that they have to draw the line
somewhere as a lot of kids coming in may have been abused by adults. Nick
climbs up the ladder but Duncan stops him suggesting that he help Kirsty.
Duncan pretends to Jade that heights make him dizzy.
Judith and Joel are having coffee at the Diner together; he suggests that
they start afresh now that the kids have given them their blessing. She
agrees and Edward and Peta come bursting in with great news. They thought
the passports would take weeks, but it turns out there is only a few days
wait, and after getting an email from his aunt, they can now enrol in
her course next week. Judith thinks it is very soon; the next course won't
be on for another few months. They are so happy and speak in Italian while
heading out. Judith is not pleased to hear the news that soon.
Duncan and Nick are talking about the Sutherlands twins; Nick is sure
Kirsty does not like him. Duncan does not believe him and asks the girls
to the Diner for lunch. Kirsty walks away, so he asks Jade. Jade catches
up with Kirsty later and tells her that they always have lunch together.
Gypsy and Will are talking; Dani sees them and when he comes to talk to
her again, she says she would not not want to go near Gypsy's ex-boyfriend.
Gypsy hears this and thinks Dani is nuts.
Duncan calls over to tell Shauna of his news, and she is delighted to
hear of them. However, she was angry to hear of her mother's behaviour
and her suggestions that he should not bother Shauna.
Gypsy calls over to the Sutherlands as she is full of ideas for the drop-in
centre. Shelley is impressed with her and Gypsy feels better now that
she is doing something more constructive instead of being destructive
as her life was before.
Harry is not happy about his mother going out with Fisher. He decides
to read her script and is staying up late to finish it. In the middle
of it, Fisher and June return home. They had a great time and agree to
do it again, before heading off to bed.
Ailsa leaves the Diner in the middle of the lunch hour. She finds Alf
on the boat and tells him she must deal with her childhood demons...
