Blake Dean

Blake arrived in the Bay with his sister, Karen. They turned up at the Stewarts, hoping to stay there, as Ailsa knew their mother. Alf refused to let them stay, so the kids had to find somewhere to stay. Eventually, Ailsa persuaded Alf to change his mind, and the Deans have lived there over two years.

Blake is one of those lucky guys who seems to have everything going for him. He is good looking and is good at sports; he is also not bad academically. He was close with his sister, until she fell in love with Revhead and got involved in crime.

Initially, women had no interest in him, but he managed to go out with some ladies: Sophie, for one. He is keen to experiment: this includes everything from blind dates to going on his first love affair. 

LESLIE HILL

Les was born on 1st August 1972, and has a sister, Rebecca. He has blue eyes and brown hair. 

Les is a great admirer of Tom Cruise. He has starred in movies such as Pirate's Island, Reconciliation, Flirting, Hit or Miss, GP and also numerous films. He has made his own films with his friends.

His best thing about Home and Away is "the experience, the chance to learn from other actors. Ray Meagher (Alf), for instance, is a great actor". On the other hand, his worst experience is that "sometimes the scripts are a little corny".

When asked by people about what may happen on Home and Away, he lied: once, he went a bit far when he said "Oh, yeah, we all die in a bus accident and the show will finish in about six months"!

On his character, he says, "Blake Dean is something of a rebel - there is no denying it. He's overprotective of his little sister Karen and he feels guilty because his mother became sick and died when he started getting into trouble at school".
