Dani Sutherland - Tammin Sursok

Dani is the vain member of the family, she’s pretty but doesn’t just show it - she flaunts it as well, that’s partly the reason so many of the Bay’s boys fall at her feet. When she first arrived, she came across as a stroppy teenager who wasn’t easily pleased, but as her character began to evolve we discovered there was a deeper sensitive side to her. Dani’s biggest storyline to date was being raped or ‘attacked’ (as it was described on the programme) by bad boy Kane Phillips. Kane set his sights upon Dani; not long after he and his brother Scott kidnapped Shauna Bradley. Dani was at first attracted to the rebellious Kane but soon realised he was trouble (obviously too late) Dani took the case to court but Kane was found ‘Not guilty.’ Dani was shattered and is still affected by the attack months after. Dani is arrogant; stubborn but can be caring and sensitive.

Love life

When Dani first arrived she hooked up with Will, they lasted quite a long time, but in the end the his ever impending friendship with Gypsy that was to send the relationship to the grave. Especially after Gypsy became pregnant with his baby, Will and Gypsy married leaving Dani young free and single, she had a short fling with Noah, and is now in a relationship with the gorgeous Josh!
