Frank Morgan
Frank's father was a professional criminal while his mother was an
alcoholic. Frank became a street kid with the ambition to be as tough
as his father whom he admired so much. His petty crimes brought him
to the attention of the authorities. When they discovered his father
was in prison and his mother being incapable of looking after Frank,
he was fostered to the Fletchers.
Frank was eight years when he was fostered. He was Tom and Pippa's
first foster kid.
Despite being street smart, Frank was not bright academically. Tom
and Pippa helped him, but Frank had only just managed to scrape through
his exams up to year 10. There was only one thing he was really good
at: playing his guitar.
Through the Department, Tom and Pippa knew that Frank's father had
never given up finding him. While Frank was under the jurisdiction of
the Department, they were able to deny him access, but once he got older,
Tom and Pippa told Frank the decision was his. He did not want to see
any of his parents again; his main concern was finding a job and forming
a band.
Frank met Roo, a daughter of Alf and they fell in love. Little did
he know that he was being used as a cover up to her pregnancy to Brett's
baby. When Frank heard of her pregnancy, Roo lied that Frank was the
baby's father.
Frank and Roo had to get married because of her pregnancy. On their
wedding day, Roo interrupted the wedding and told Frank that he was
not the father of the baby before running out. He stormed out and drove
off at speed before crashing the car.
Later, Frank and Bobby got close and they got married - however, they
had problems after their marriage. He left the Bay for New York to see
Roo.
In 1993, Frank returned to the Bay to see Bobby and became aware of
her marrying Greg. He asked her to marry him. Bobby thought about it
and decided to marry him, to the atonishment of the residents. When
he discovered she changed her mind not to marry him, he left the Bay.
Frank returned to the Bay in 2000 for Sally's wedding.
He was one of the original characters of Home and Away.
