Judith Ackroyd

Judith

Judith originally came to the Bay in late 1999 since Don Fisher was so unmotivated bout the headmaster job because of private burdens that he tried to get a sabbatical permitted ! Judith was the one to step and was beloved by most of the locals on the spot but Fisher and her had the worst start one can get. Without any reason !! Fisher told Hayley that an unusually young vicar's gonna replace him and that she must have had extraordinary "qualities" and "abilities". Curious Hayley asked Mitch at the caravan park and this conversation happened to be overheard by Judith the gist of it was that she was told to had slept her up to the top.

Judith told Fisher several times that he should mind his own business i.e. as a brat was harassing girls she let him go instead of giving him detention like Fisher would have done ! Or disagreements after this frenzy arsonist lit fire at school or Fisher offered to compare rosters with her ! Even Irene took her side and Donny had been left to his own devices for a long time...

Odd was her attitude towards this new student, Edward Dunglass, too. Why did she tolerate his rudeness in the first place. He knew about the duty of wearing a school uniform but nevertheless he just said "Mz Ackroyd". Judith turned up at the go kart race at the caravan park lil' later on to startle the whole bunch of the SummerBay-Teens by being addressed as MOTHER by Edward Dunglass !!

Things for Judith Ackroyd haven't been easy right from the start but she managed to sort out things with Don denying having said anything bout her being an ambitious slut. As a matter of fact Judith and Don sorted things out and became good mate in no time.

Don's outing as for the English guru Edward Dunglass from Uni didn't do any harm but made him see why Edward's acting different than other kids his age. Judith's burden with Edward be "threated" by this horrid illness called Huntington syndrome and Bytron's struggle against cancer smoothened the path for a good friendship between them thus Judith Ackroyd offered her help to re-write Don's novel for Byron as silly Colleen corrupted the backups by putting it on the top of the loudspeakers. Bad bad rumours emerged from this close, nightshift-like collaboration. Alf tended to spread rumours in the first place, then Colleen when overhearing out of context conversation between Judith and Don that she passed on the Nashes and Gypsy couldn't wait to spread them for she wanted to get back at Judith for preventing her from becoming a school captain by the means of her veto !!! Judith was rudely attacked by Gyspy, first of all by mean words and then by a swastika on her windscreen and lipstick-drawn letters saying "fascist-cow".
