Martin Dibble

Martin worked at a local oyster farm, which was run by Fisher's brother. He worked with Lance, who is his best friend.

Martin is more intelligent than Lance, and even joined the partnership for the newly formed Bayside Diner, which Bobby and Ailsa opened. Later on, he landed a job in the Macklin Development Company.

Martin had always something under his sleeve. When Lance was selling his car, Adam begged Martin to take the car out so that he could sell it to interested buyers. Things went wrong: the car was stolen and Marilyn and Lance ended up in jail. Martin was kicked out of the house!

In 1990, he was on the phone to a doctor and realised that he would have little time. Lance and Marilyn were present while he was on the phone, and misunderstood that he was dying. News were spread around and the locals fussed over what to do to make his final days happy for him.

Martin did not know what the fuss was about; by 'little time', he meant that he would be leaving soon to join the army. He left in 1990.

In 2000, Martin returned to Summer Bay for Sally's wedding, a changed man, or was he? He claimed that he is running a mobile car tuning business, called Mobitune.

When Lance found him in the Diner, they talked about the past and they have too many drinks at a stag party. Despite his claims htat he had a room booked in the Sands, he slept on the beach overnight.
