Vinnie just got offered a photography deal maybe by Gavin Campbell.
Gavin is the new guy that's married with a daughter but is still
cracking onto Shauna. It gets really serious. She kisses him tonight
in Australia and it'll be a really good storyline because he stays
in it for a while. Joel's just moved out and in with Judith -
so that makes Leah jealous (and Donald) about Gypsy and Vinnie
Will is now the man of he house. He isn't acting a brother to
nick and hayley more like a dad. He isn't easy going on nick and
nick starts getting pissed off which only makes him miss his dad
even more and hayley she's confused and pissed off as well
First of all, back from his surfing circuit, Sam Marshall (Ryan
Clark) is making a brief return. Also returning is Natalie Nash
(Antionette Byron). Natalie will return from Queensland with her
new born baby. Apparently, things don't work out with Joel and
Judith and Joel will reunite with his former wife
Two of Summer Bay's most familiar locations are going to be
destroyed. Firstly, the Bayside Diner will be destroyed by fire
and secondly, Alf and Ailsa's house will be destroyed by a mudslide.
I think Maybe Ailsa will die in this mudslide as I posted b4
Now Joel Nash (David Woodley) is leaving. No news yet if his
daughter, Gypsy (Kimberly Cooper) is leaving with him. There are
rumours that Joel and Natalie get back together
I go to school in Sydney and I was at a parent/teacher interview
thing and and my headmaster told me that Justin Melvey used to
go to our school and he'll be coming to and assembly the next
day. So he came and he gave a speech to the school about his life
at school and now and what he's been doing. He also showed us
his Logie award. He then said that he'd love to come back and
conduct a workshop for any actors so 3 weeks later he came back
and I got to meet him personally and ask him questions. I then
wrote a letter to him and he replied personally a week later on
a "thank you" sheet of paper telling me he'd like to keep in touch
so today I sent him another letter. It was REALLY cool actually
having a HandA star at our school. He graduated in 1986 and I
saw a pic of him in year 7 (1981)that I have at home. He looked
so different!
OK don't ask me what I was doing but I was bored and I was looking
up some info on that new show on Channel In the afternoon "Two
of a Kind" with the Olsen Twins. Which by the way has been cancelled
after one season :) So came a across a site dedicated to them
with heaps and heaps of photos of them, and a section where they
must have just recently visited Australia to film a movie, and
who should be in the movie but Ryan Clark I think, well there
are heaps of pics of him with the girls, and it's mainly filmed
in Sydney I think, there is another guy in it called Scott but
I'm not sure who he is. So yeah hats just a bit of info for you
and could be part of the reason Ryan left Home and Away.
A DEATH ROCKS THE BAY!
It's all go for Irene and Ken's big day. Shelley helps Irene
with wedding preparations and Irene confesses she's a little nervous
about the whole thing. When Ken and Irene are finally alone, Ken
gives Irene the expensive ring he bought for her and she is secretly
thrilled. She chides him for spending so much, knowing the money
could have been used on other things like new equipment for the
garage and for the wedding itself. Ken doesn't care - it's about
time he gave her a decent gift.
Will is helping Ken at the garage when he sees Tasha limping past.
He wants to make sure she's okay. Ken gives Will a lecture on
responsibility, but after Will stresses it's important, and not
because he fancies Tasha as Ken suspects, Ken lets him go. Unbeknown
to Ken, the hydraulic jack slips a little as he's working on the
car. Later, Ken is working underneath the car and the jack slips
once again. Ken remains unaware.
Meanwhile, Will heads back to the garage and Dani follows. She's
really impressed by the way Will stood up to Tasha's father. Will
finds Ken trapped underneath the car and desperately tries to
lift it off him. Later, Will sits and stares at the spot where
his father was and blames himself for Ken's death. He lifted the
car off Ken and that's what killed him. Dani tells him, he did
the right thing. She holds a shattered Will in her arms.
Shelley and Irene spend the day going over last minute details
about the wedding. Irene's still in her wedding dress, with Shelley
making last minute alterations to it, when Joel delivers the tragic
news of Ken's death. Irene crumples, as Hayley stands devastated
with the news. Later, a very numb Irene heads upstairs to change
out of her wedding dress, but collapses on the landing, consumed
by grief. She mumbles to herself, she's just mutton dressed up
as lamb and should have known her dreams would never come true.
Hayley rushes to comfort her as Will stands grief stricken.
Ailsa is leaving home and away!!!
Ailsa Stewart who has been on the show from the very start is
leaving the show in a very dramatic way. Ailsa will die after
being crushed by a landslide while out bushwalking. The scenes
were very hard for the cast to film, especially for Judy Nunn
who is still tender after an operation to remove a tumerous growth
from her abdomen
Does she know that her real father was a rapist? No, she doesn't
know he was a rapist...from memory I think Ailsa told Shauna that
he was studying to become a doctor or something in some European
country, and she hasn't seen him since
Shauna knows that Ailsa is her REAL mother and Ailsa goes back
to where she grew up and told Duncan the Shauna about their ancestors
and Duncan found out that he tricked Shauna his older sister into
kissing him
I think you are right about the drop-in-centre, it certainly
will make some new storylines and also bring new characters in.
Brodie is going to become a permanent character, so that is one
new character already (although we have hardly seen anything of
her yet). Apparently Susie Rugg, who plays Brodie, originally
went for the role of Dani, but they asked her to play Brodie instead.
Also, Susie has been a fan of HandA since the Shane and Angel
days
Even younger than that - Tammin is around 17, but Kate is only
14, and Christie is 14
Yeah I think they were keen to get the Sutherlands on the credits
to show everyone they are here to stay, However it's obvious to
everyone now about Ken and that he is leaving because he was taken
off the credits at the start. But I guess they couldn't wait,
for that or fit in another person it would have buggered up they
thingy! Also my thoughts on the drop in Centre, I think its going
to be the new way of kinda bringing people to the town, and having
them stay, like the fostering type thing. Someone will come and
some of the kids will get friendly with them and beg someone to
foster them or what ever. Well that what I think will happen
Actually HandA is almost always very reliable in updating the
credits quickly - that is *removing* people from the credits -
it can take a while for newcomers to be added in though. Normally
they change the Monday following someone's departure. The exception
to this is when several people are leaving around the same time,
and they might put off changing them for a week or so. HandA is
a lot better at maintaining their credits than Neighbours is (at
times ridiculously out of date by months). I think the main reason
HandA is quick is because the credits also include the actor names
Don't know if this has been reported already, but according to
an article about Justin Melvey in this weeks TV Now, Home and
Away will return to Network 2 on the 4th of September. Wow! longest
three week break in history guys!!! And a whole month and a bit
to go.....jeeeeeeeez. At least its coming back this year though.
We're now going to be three and a half months behind Australia....guess
there'll be lots of spoilers for us now, eh???
I watch both shows regularly as well, and like you they both
have their strengths and weakness, I think its hard to compare
the two as Home and Away has a younger cast and Neighbours an
older so thin it just depends on what you like. I personally prefer
Home and Away better because it's a younger cast and I like the
beach and summer time feel of it but that's just me. But feel
free anyone to disagree with me on that
Hi I'm making a special appearance here in the middle of my summer
hols. Firstly I hate neighbours and love HandA Secondly I have
an exclusive for you, you know how Aleetza Wood is in the UK?
I can now reveal that she is in the UK to appear in a pantomime
(which one is not yet known) at the Wyvern Theatre in my wonderful
home town of Swindon in Wiltshire so I could well bump in to her
when I'm in town doing my shopping. Thirdly I agree with whoever
it was that said Ken Smith is OK. Anthony Phelan who plays him
CAN act and also why does everyone think Gypsy is sooo cool? Kimberly
Cooper can't act cos whatever emotion she is asked to play it
always comes out as sarcasm! Finally the V-man and Ailsa can't
leave they are an important part of the show, I'm beginning to
think that all the non-original characters are doing guest appearances
COs they keeping leaving way too quickly to be called permanent
characters
well I think HandA is a better show, but then again I only watch
neighbours occasionally and when I do watch it, it is pretty good.
Anyway, why argue about which is the better show when they both
have their good points and they both have their bad points???
they are different shows with different story lines, so lets just
leave it at that
I read some rumours in TV Week and they even said that Judy Nunn
is leaving Home and Away due to ailing health. It seems as if
it's pretty definite to me. Does anyone have any ideas for the
season finale. The surf club fire seems highly unlikely now. Maybe
people on this list could come up with suggestions. Maybe Ken
leaves and Irene turns to the bottle again. In her drunkenness
she accidentally sets the house on fire. Unknown to her Mitch
and Hayley are in the bedroom. They are trapped in the house as
it blazes out of control. Does Ken come back and save the day,
or will Irene be put in jail for manslaughter? Maybe my storyline
needs a bit of work
I thought I saw her [Aleetza] (carefully disguised!) at Glastonbury
festival (UK) a few weeks ago
I can't confirm it, but it's almost certain that Ed and Peta
will not return. Rebecca and Travis were meant to return, Pippa
was, they do that all the time. James is only meant to go for
a year. By the time they are meant to come back - everyone's forgotten
about them and don't expect them to come back. It's their main
way of writing characters out of the series. It's good that@ Ailsa
(Judy Nunn) is back. Is she definitely getting killed off? No!!!!!
I know Aleetza Wood who plays/ed Peta is currently in the UK
or is going to the UK to do some Shakespeare plays, Brooke Satchwell
(Anne from Neighbours) was originally going to do it because she
had done some here but she was then asked to do Water Rats so
they gave it to Aleetza. Steven who played Edward I think left
to concentrate on school, but he wasn't in it for very long so
maybe he will I think I would be good if they could continue the
Huntington's thing because I would like to know how Peta handles
it. Well that's all from me
I hope Luke does come back and end up with sally, COs I reckon
it's about time sally got a steady boyfriend, COs she hasn't exactly
been very lucky with guys. I mean she's had boyfriends, but not
very steady ones....I reckon her and Luke would be good together.
anyone agree??
In one of Home and Away's most shocking developments this year,
long-time resident Ailsa Stewart is set to leave in dramatic style.
Ailsa will die after being crushed by a landslide while bushwalking.
The scenes were very hard for the cast to film, especially for
Judy Nunn who is still tender after an operation to remove a tumorous
growth on her abdomen. Judy will be sorely missed - she is a terrific
talent and is one of the key reasons the show has been successful
for as long as it has. We'll miss you, Judy!
Rhys Sutherland has asked Les (Colleen's ex husband) to leave
the caravan park as his back is better now. Colleen is sad to
find this out even though she says that she didn't want him around.
Will and Dani made a tape of her singing, but Tash stole it and
then played it to the class (it was a shocker!). Later on, Kirsty
and Nick got her back by stealing her clothes when she was in
the shower, forcing her to run down the hall with just a towel
on! They got in trouble of course but, later they were walking
down the beach which their arms around each other! Peta spent
a few days in the city with Edward and experienced his horrible
mood swings and she doesn't know how she will cope in a foreign
country and without Judith's help. Meanwhile, Judith is organising
their farewell party (tomorrow night). Don told Ailsa that he
thought that Judith should be with someone who is on the same
academic level as herself (meaning him). He said that their dinner
went well and after a few wines, they started to recite Shakespeare!
Don tried to tell Judith how he felt about her but got interrupted
in the school corridor!
has anyone seen another ad with Michael Piccirilli (James Fraser)
- the ad is for Seat cars
I come from England here and as you probably know Home and away
is currently of our screens. Well I wrote to channel 5 asking
them when home and away will return to our screens and will it
continue on from before and they replied that channel 5 and itv
are sorting it out between them about when it will be allowed
to be shown again and channel 5 said that as soon as they get
the go ahead to show it again they will! they also said that they
will carry on from where they left the story line last before
the show stopped! I will post the letter that I received later
as it gives contact details. I don't know whether this news is
new or whether you have heard it before but I hope it is some
use to you all!
